The job of an economic hit man is to identify countries with resources that corporations covet. Once a target is identified, we shower its leaders with gifts - things like loans, luxury cars, and fancy technology - which they gladly accept, often without any intention of paying them back. These gifts come with strings attached, of course. The goal is to make these leaders indebted to us, both financially and politically. Once we have them in our pocket, we can then manipulate them into making decisions that benefit our corporate interests. We convince them to build infrastructure projects that they don't need and can't afford, projects that are built by our own contractors and that generate huge profits for our corporations.
