To be mindful is to be fully present in the moment, giving our complete attention to whatever we are doing. When we focus on the task at hand, we bring our awareness to the present moment and let go of distractions from the past or worries about the future. By immersing ourselves in the task in front of us, we can fully engage with it and perform at our best. One way to enhance our focus is to eliminate multitasking and instead give our full attention to one task at a time.
