Growing up in foster care, I faced many challenges that could have easily broken me. Being moved from home to home, never knowing where I would end up next, it would have been easy to give up hope. But instead, these childhood struggles shaped my determination. They instilled in me a drive to never give up, no matter how tough things got.
One of the hardest parts of my childhood was dealing with the constant upheaval of being in foster care. I never had a stable home or a consistent support system. But instead of letting this instability defeat me, I used it as fuel to push myself harder. I was determined to create a better life for myself, no matter what obstacles stood in my way.
