The working class in America has been deceived and left in a state of despair. They toil day in and day out, only to be met with broken promises and shattered dreams. The exploitation they face at the hands of the capitalist system has left them feeling abandoned and disillusioned. The harsh realities of their labor are laid bare before them, as they struggle to make ends meet and provide for their families. They witness their loved ones fall ill from the unsanitary conditions in which they work, with little to no recourse for justice or compensation. The lack of concern for their well-being by those in power serves as a constant reminder of their disposability in the eyes of the elite. As they come to realize the futility of their efforts to better their circumstances, a sense of betrayal takes hold.
