Ordinary man discovers Earth's impending destruction from "summary" of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: The Illustrated Edition by Douglas Adams

Arthur Dent, an unassuming man living in England, is faced with the shocking revelation that his home planet is about to be destroyed to make way for a hyperspace bypass. His house is set to be demolished for this construction project, but little does he know that the entire Earth is also slated for destruction.
