When I started my happiness project, I quickly realized that one of the most important elements of happiness is taking time for self-care. It's so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life that we forget to prioritize ourselves. We neglect our own needs in favor of work, family, and other obligations, but this can lead to burnout and unhappiness. Self-care isn't selfish; it's essential. It's about taking the time to nurture yourself, both physically and emotionally. This can take many forms, from taking a long bath to going for a run, from reading a book to spending time with loved ones. The key is to identify what makes you feel good and make time for it on a regular basis. For me, self-care means carving out time each day to do something that brings me joy.
