When faced with hatred, I have always chosen love. Love is a powerful force that can conquer even the darkest of times. It is easy to succumb to anger and bitterness when faced with adversity, but I have learned that love is the only way to truly overcome hatred. By choosing love over hate, we can heal wounds, build bridges, and create a better world for future generations. During my time in the concentration camps, I witnessed the worst of humanity. I saw the depths to which people can sink when consumed by hate. But even in those dark days, I held onto my belief in the power of love. I refused to let the hatred of others infect my own heart. Instead, I chose to show kindness, compassion, and forgiveness to those around me. In the face of unimaginable suffering, I found solace in acts of love and kindness. Whether it was sharing a piece of bread with a fellow prisoner or offering a comforting word to someone in despair, I always chose to respond with love.
