Boy finds peace within himself from "summary" of The Girl in Room 105 by Chetan Bhagat

Keshav was a troubled young man. His heart was heavy with guilt and regret, his mind consumed by thoughts of lost love and missed opportunities. He found solace in alcohol and cigarettes, seeking temporary escape from his inner turmoil. But no matter how much he drank or smoked, the weight on his soul remained. It was only when he met Zara, the girl in room 105, that Keshav began to see a glimmer of hope. Zara's courage and strength inspired him to confront his demons, to face the pain and guilt that had been eating away at him for so long. Through his interactions with Zara, Keshav began to understand that true peace comes from within, from accepting oneself and letting go of the past. As he delved deeper into Zara's story, Keshav realized that forgiveness was the key to finding peace. He had to forgive himself for his mistakes, for the pain he had caused others, and for the opportunities he had let slip through his fingers. Only then could he truly move forward, free from the burdens of his past. Through his journey with Zara, Keshav learned to let go of his anger and resentment, to embrace the present moment and find joy in the simple pleasures of life. He discovered that peace was not a destination to be reached, but a state of being to be cultivated within oneself. In the end, Keshav found peace within himself. He learned to love and accept himself, flaws and all, and to live each day with gratitude and purpose. And as he watched Zara walk away, knowing that she had found her own peace, he knew that he was finally free.
