And this brings us back to the concept of ambiguity. Ambiguity is a fundamental aspect of human existence. It is the state of being in which man is both a conscious subject and an object for himself. This duality gives rise to a constant tension, a perpetual struggle between freedom and facticity. In confronting their own ambiguity, the individual must come to terms with the fact that they are both free and constrained by their circumstances. They must acknowledge that they are the authors of their own actions, yet also subject to the limitations imposed by their situation. This recognition is essential for the individual to take responsibility for their choices and to act authentically.
