Fasting is a powerful tool that can help lower insulin levels and improve blood sugar control. When we fast, our body is able to burn through excess glucose and stored glycogen, which helps to lower blood sugar levels. This reduction in blood sugar signals the pancreas to produce less insulin, as there is less need to regulate blood sugar levels.
