The idea that society is in decay is not a novel one. Throughout history, civilizations have risen and fallen, each one going through its own cycle of growth, maturity, decline, and eventual collapse. This concept of cyclical history is at the heart of my work, "The Decline of the West."In this book, I argue that Western civilization is currently in a state of decline, much like the civilizations that came before it. I posit that this decline is not simply a result of external factors such as war, economic collapse, or natural disasters, but rather a natural and inevitable part of the life cycle of civilizations. One of the key reasons for this decline, in my view, is the loss of a sense of purpose and direction in Western society.
