In Seattle, as the leaves turned from green to gold and the air grew crisper, a group of young men began to gather at the shell house by the water. They came from different backgrounds and walks of life, but they all shared a common goal: to be a part of something bigger than themselves. This was the University of Washington rowing team, a group of dedicated individuals who were willing to push themselves to their limits in pursuit of excellence. Each member of the team brought with them their own strengths and weaknesses, their own hopes and fears. Some were natural athletes, born with a gift for rowing, while others had to work twice as hard to keep up. But they all knew that in order to succeed, they would have to set aside their differences and work together as one unit.
