They fly back together from "summary" of The Bird by Nicholas Allan

The little bird had been flying for days, searching for a place to call home. Tired and lonely, it longed for the company of others like itself. As it soared through the sky, it spotted a flock of birds flying in formation. They were flying in perfect harmony, moving as one through the vast blue expanse above. The little bird watched in awe as the flock danced through the air, each bird knowing its place in the group. It felt a pang of longing in its heart, a desire to join them and be a part of something bigger than itself. With a flutter of its wings, the little bird joined the flock, falling into line with the others. At first, the other birds were wary of the newcomer. They eyed it suspiciously, unsure of its intentions. But the little bird showed no sign of aggression, only a desire to be a part of their group. Slowly, they began to accept it, allowing it to fly beside them as they journeyed on. As they flew together, the little bird felt a sense of belonging that it had never experienced before. It was no longer alone in the vast sky; it was a part of a community, a family of birds that flew as one. The days passed quickly as they traveled together, their wings beating in unison as they crossed rivers, mountains, and valleys. And then, one day, they reached their destination. It was a beautiful place, filled with lush green trees and sparkling rivers. The flock settled down, finding a place to rest and make their home. The little bird was overjoyed - it had finally found a place where it belonged, a place where it could spread its wings and soar with others by its side. And as the sun set on their first day in their new home, the little bird knew that it had found its place in the world.
