The other birds apologize from "summary" of The Bird by Nicholas Allan

In the midst of all the noise and chaos, The Bird sat alone on the branch, feeling sad and lonely. The other birds were busy squabbling and fighting amongst themselves, paying no attention to The Bird's distress. The Bird longed for some compassion, some understanding, but it seemed like an impossible dream. But then, something unexpected happened. One by one, the other birds stopped their bickering and turned their attention towards The Bird. They saw the tears in The Bird's eyes, the heaviness in its heart, and they felt a pang of guilt wash over them. They realized they had been so caught up in their own petty disagreements that they had neglected their friend in need. And so, without a word spoken, the other birds approached The Bird, one by one, and extended their wings in a gesture of apology. The Bird looked up, surprised and touched by this sudden display of empathy. It felt a glimmer of hope, a spark of warmth in its heart. As the other birds surrounded The Bird, a sense of unity and understanding filled the air. They had put aside their differences, their quarrels, and had come together in a moment of true connection. The Bird felt a sense of belonging, of acceptance, that it had never experienced before. And in that moment, The Bird knew that it was not alone. The other birds had seen its pain, had acknowledged its suffering, and had offered their apologies from the depths of their hearts. And in that simple act of kindness, The Bird found solace, found comfort, found the true meaning of friendship.
