No one helps from "summary" of The Bird by Nicholas Allan
In this story, a small bird falls from its nest and finds itself in need of help. It looks around and sees other animals nearby - a mouse, a squirrel, a rabbit, and a fox. But despite its desperate cries for help, no one comes to its aid. The mouse is busy gathering food for the winter, the squirrel is busy collecting nuts, the rabbit is busy hopping around, and the fox is busy hunting for its next meal. They all have their own priorities and concerns, and they choose to ignore the bird's cries for help. As the bird continues to call out for assistance, it starts to feel hopeless and alone.
