It feels lonely from "summary" of The Bird by Nicholas Allan

When you sit on a branch all day, it feels lonely. The world is big and you are small. The other birds all have someone to talk to. They sing and chirp and tweet. But you sit all alone. The sun is warm and the breeze is gentle, but still, it feels lonely. You long for a friend to share your branch with. Someone to chat to. Someone to fly with. But there is no one. Just you and the empty space beside you. You watch the other birds as they flutter by. They are always in pairs or groups, never alone. They share food and stories and laughter. They look so happy together. You wish you could join them, but you are stuck on your branch, all by yourself. Sometimes you try to call out to them, but they don't hear you. They are too busy with their own lives to notice you sitting there, lonely and sad. As the day turns into night, the loneliness grows stronger. The sky darkens and the stars come out, one by one. You watch them twinkle in the darkness, wishing for someone to share the beauty with. The moon rises and casts a soft glow over the world. It is a peaceful night, but still, you feel lonely. The silence is deafening, and you can't help but feel like you are the only bird in the world. You close your eyes and try to sleep, but the loneliness keeps you awake. You toss and turn on your branch, trying to find a comfortable position. You listen to the sounds of the night, the rustling of leaves, the hoot of an owl, the distant howl of a wolf. They are all reminders of your solitude. You wish you could fly away, far from this lonely branch, far from this lonely life. But you are stuck here, with no one to keep you company. And so you sit, alone in the darkness, feeling the weight of your loneliness pressing down on you. You wonder if you will ever find a friend, someone to share your branch with, someone to fly with. But for now, all you can do is wait. Wait for the sun to rise and the day to begin anew. Wait for a chance to break free from the loneliness that surrounds you.
