In my efforts to promote unity and collaboration among the colonies, I proposed a plan for the union of the colonies under one government. This plan, known as the Albany Plan of Union, aimed to create a central government that would have authority over matters of defense and trade. I believed that by uniting the colonies, they would be better equipped to deal with common challenges and threats. Despite the initial rejection of the Albany Plan by the colonies and the British government, I continued to advocate for the importance of unity among the colonies.
