In my efforts to promote unity and collaboration among the colonies, I proposed a plan for the union of the colonies under one government. This plan, known as the Albany Plan of Union, aimed to create a central government that would have authority over matters of defense and trade. I believed that by uniting the colonies, they would be better equipped to deal with common challenges and threats.
