Yogananda's encounters with spiritual masters reveal profound insights into the nature of consciousness from "summary" of The Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda Yogananda
In the course of my spiritual journey, I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the greatest spiritual masters of our time. These encounters have provided me with invaluable insights into the nature of consciousness and the mysteries of the universe. One such encounter was with Mahatma Gandhi, the great Indian leader and spiritual teacher. Through his teachings and example, I learned the power of non-violence and the importance of living a life of integrity and compassion. Gandhi's unwavering commitment to truth and justice inspired me to strive for higher ideals and to always act with love and kindness towards others. Another profound encounter was with Sri Yukteswar, my beloved guru and spiritual guide. Through his teachings and guidance, I learned the ancient science of Kriya Yoga and the secrets of the spiritual path. Sri Yukteswar taught me the importance of self-discipline and self-realization, and showed me how to overcome the limitations of the material world and connect with the divine consciousness within. Yet another enlightening encounter was with the great saint Babaji, who revealed to me the eternal truths of the universe and the divine plan for all of creation. Babaji's wisdom and compassion touched my soul and opened my eyes to the infinite possibilities of existence. Through his teachings, I learned to see the interconnectedness of all things and to recognize the divine spark that resides within each and every being. These encounters with spiritual masters have deepened my understanding of the nature of consciousness and the interconnectedness of all things. They have shown me that the key to unlocking the mysteries of the universe lies within each of us, waiting to be discovered through self-realization and spiritual practice. Through their guidance and wisdom, I have been able to glimpse the true nature of reality and to experience the infinite love and light that pervades all of creation.Similar Posts
