Miracles are a natural part of the spiritual path from "summary" of The Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda
In the course of my travels, I met many saints who had performed wondrous feats. These miracles, I learned, were not mere displays of power, but rather natural expressions of the divine potential within every soul. Through their spiritual practices and deep connection with the divine, these saints had awakened the latent powers of the mind. One such saint, Babaji, demonstrated to me the power of controlling the life force within the body. By focusing his awareness on the spiritual eye, located between the eyebrows, he was able to enter a state of deep meditation and control his bodily functions. Through this practice, he achieved physical immortality and the ability to move freely between the physical and astral realms. Another saint, Sri Yukteswar, showed me the power of divine perception. By aligning his consciousness with the universal mind, he was able to see past, present, and future events with perfect clarity. This ability, known as clairvoyance, allowed him to guide his disciples on the spiritual path and help them overcome obstacles on their journey. Through my own spiritual practices and the guidance of these great saints, I too experienced the power of miracles in my life. By surrendering to the divine will and aligning my consciousness with the higher truth, I was able to manifest my desires and overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges. These miracles, I realized, were not separate from the spiritual path, but rather an integral part of it. As I delved deeper into the mysteries of the spiritual path, I came to understand that miracles are not random occurrences, but rather the result of a deep connection with the divine. When we align our consciousness with the higher truth and surrender to the divine will, we tap into the unlimited potential within us and manifest miracles in our lives. This realization transformed my understanding of the spiritual path and inspired me to continue my journey with faith and devotion.Similar Posts
