As a result, many species are facing multiple threats simultaneously, making it even harder for them to adapt. This situation is exacerbated by the fact that many species are already living on the edge due to factors such as habitat loss and overexploitation.- The concept that species are struggling to adapt to rapidly changing environments is a central theme in the discussion of the current biodiversity crisis. The challenges faced by species in adapting to these changes highlight the urgent need for conservation efforts to protect the incredible diversity of life on Earth.
