Acts of service show love through actions from "summary" of The 5 Love Languages Men's Edition by Gary Chapman
Acts of service involve doing things for your partner that you know they would like you to do. You seek to please them by serving them in various ways. This might include cooking meals, washing dishes, vacuuming floors, changing the baby's diaper, picking up groceries, walking the dog, mowing the grass, changing the oil in the car, or painting a room. Acts of service require thought, planning, time, effort, and energy. If done with a positive spirit, they are indeed expressions of love. When acts of service are the primary love language of your partner, nothing speaks more deeply to them than serving them in a way that makes their life easier or more pleasant. The acts of service you provide require a lot of energy and intent, but for your partner, these actions speak volumes. They are seeing your love in action. They are not doubting your love because you are demonstrating your love through acts of service. If you have not spoken this love language in the past, it may take a while for your partner to interpret your acts of service as expressions of love. In the meantime, you must continue to speak their language so that they will not doubt your love. Eventually, however, they will come to see your acts of service as expressions of your love. They will appreciate what you are doing for them and the effort you are putting in. Once your partner comes to the realization that you are speaking their love language through acts of service, they will feel loved and cherished. They will know that you care deeply for them and are willing to go the extra mile to make them happy. Your actions will speak louder than words, and your partner will feel truly loved and cared for.Similar Posts
