As educators, we often feel the pressure to be the expert in the room, to have all the answers and to never show any signs of uncertainty. However, embracing the opportunity to learn alongside students can actually be a powerful teaching strategy. When we let go of the need to be the all-knowing authority figure and instead adopt a mindset of curiosity and openness, we create a more dynamic and engaging learning environment. Learning alongside students allows us to model important skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and humility.
