Accept the cycles of life and change from "summary" of Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu

The way of the world is to wax and wane, to rise and fall, to come and go. This is the natural order of things, the ebb and flow of life. Just as the sun rises and sets, the tides ebb and flow, so too do our lives follow cycles of growth and decay. To resist this natural rhythm is to go against the Tao, the way of the universe. It is futile to try to hold onto what is passing, to cling to what is fading. Instead, we must learn to accept the cycles of life and change, to embrace the impermanence of all things. When we learn to go with the flow, to ride the waves of change, we find peace and harmony. We are no longer tossed about by the winds of fortune, but instead move with grace and ease. We become like the bamboo, bending with the wind, yet never breaking. In accepting the cycles of life and change, we learn to let go of our attachments, our desires, our fears. We learn to trust in the wisdom of the universe, to have faith that all things happen for a reason. We learn to surrender to the flow of life, to let go and let be. In this surrender, we find freedom, liberation from the chains of our own making. We are no longer bound by the past or the future, but live fully in the present moment. We are no longer burdened by regrets or anxieties, but instead are filled with gratitude and joy. So let us embrace the cycles of life and change, let us flow with the river of existence. In accepting the natural order of things, we find peace, harmony, and true freedom. Let us surrender to the Tao, to the way of the universe, and find our true selves in the ever-changing dance of life.
