Prophet Hud's warning to people from "summary" of Stories of the Prophets by Ismāʻīl ibn ʻUmar Ibn Kathīr
Prophet Hud was sent to the people of 'Ad, who were known for their physical strength and power. Despite their strength, they were arrogant and rebellious towards Allah. Prophet Hud warned them of the consequences of their actions and reminded them to worship Allah alone. He urged them to repent and seek forgiveness before it was too late. The people of 'Ad, however, refused to listen to Prophet Hud and continued in their disbelief. They mocked him and challenged him to bring down the punishment he warned them about. Prophet Hud remained patient and continued to deliver the message of Allah, even in the face of adversity.
