After the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) passed away, the Muslim community was faced with the challenge of selecting a leader to succeed him. The companions of the Prophet gathered in a place called Saqifah to discuss this matter. Among them was Abu Bakr, who was a close companion of the Prophet and known for his piety and wisdom.
