Prophet Noah was a great messenger of Allah who was sent to guide his people towards the right path. He lived among a community that had deviated from the teachings of God and had engaged in sinful acts. Despite his continuous efforts to guide them, they refused to listen to his message and persisted in their wrongful ways. As a result of their disobedience and arrogance, Allah decided to send a great flood to wipe out the sinful people from the face of the earth. Allah revealed to Noah that he should build an ark to save himself, his followers, and a pair of each kind of animal. Noah obeyed the command of Allah and began constructing the ark as a means of salvation from the impending flood.
