The people of Thamud were a prosperous nation living in a fertile land. They were blessed with wealth and power but instead of being grateful to Allah, they became arrogant and rebellious. Despite the warnings of their prophet Saleh, they continued on their path of wrongdoing. Saleh tried to guide his people towards righteousness and warned them of the consequences of their actions. He reminded them of the favors Allah had granted them and urged them to worship Him alone. However, the people of Thamud rejected Saleh's message and demanded a miracle to prove his prophethood.
