Siddhartha's journey comes full circle from "summary" of Siddharta by Hermann Hesse

As Siddhartha sat by the river, listening to the water flowing gently past him, he felt a sense of peace wash over him. It had been a long and arduous journey, filled with highs and lows, joy and sorrow. But now, as he reflected on his life, he realized that everything had led him to this moment. He thought back to the days when he was a young man, full of ambition and restless energy. He had left his home and family behind in search of enlightenment, convinced that he could find the answers he sought by following the teachings of others. But no matter how hard he tried, he could not escape the feeling that something was missing. It was only when he abandoned the teachings of others and embarked on his own path that he began to truly understand himself and the world around him. He spent years wandering, learning from each experience, each encounter, each moment of joy and pain. And now, as he sat by the river, he realized that he had finally come full circle. The river, which had been a constant presence in his life, was now a symbol of his own journey. Just as the water flowed endlessly, so too did Siddhartha's life, moving in circles, constantly changing and evolving. He understood now that enlightenment was not a destination to be reached, but a state of being to be embraced. As he closed his eyes and let the sound of the river envelop him, Siddhartha felt a deep sense of gratitude for all that had brought him to this moment. Every step, every choice, every mistake had been necessary for him to truly understand the nature of existence. And now, as he opened his eyes and looked out at the world before him, he knew that his journey was far from over.
