Siddhartha learns to surrender to the flow of life from "summary" of Siddharta by Hermann Hesse

As Siddhartha sat by the river, he realized that he had been fighting against life for so long. He had been seeking enlightenment through rigid discipline and asceticism, but he now understood that true wisdom could not be forced. He saw how the river flowed effortlessly, following its natural course without resistance. This sight sparked a realization within him – he needed to surrender to the flow of life, to let go of his need for control and simply trust in the universe. Siddhartha decided to embrace the concept of surrender, to release his fears and doubts and allow himself to be carried by the current of life.
