Arjun is confused about his duty in the battle from "summary" of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta - Gita Saar (Hindi) 2020: भाग 1 by पं. रवि शर्मा

Arjun, standing in the middle of the battlefield of Kurukshetra, is filled with confusion and doubt about his duty. He is torn between his love for his family and his responsibilities as a warrior. As he looks upon his relatives and friends on the opposing side, he is overwhelmed by feelings of grief and compassion. Arjun's mind is clouded with uncertainty as he contemplates the consequences of engaging in battle. He questions the righteousness of fighting against his own kin, wondering if it is worth sacrificing their lives for the sake of victory. He is unable to find clarity amidst the chaos of conflicting emotions that grip his heart. In his state of distress, Arjun turns to Lord Krishna for guidance. He seeks wisdom and enlightenment from his charioteer, who reveals his divine form and imparts the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. Through Krishna's words, Arjun begins to understand the true nature of his duty and the path he must follow. Krishna explains to Arjun the concepts of dharma, karma, and selflessness, urging him to rise above his personal attachments and fulfill his obligations as a warrior. He emphasizes the importance of performing one's duty without being swayed by desires or fears, and encourages Arjun to embrace his role in the grand design of the universe. As Arjun listens to Krishna's teachings, his confusion starts to dissipate, and his mind becomes clear and focused. He recognizes the significance of upholding righteousness and fulfilling his responsibilities as a warrior. With newfound strength and determination, Arjun prepares himself to face the challenges ahead and fulfill his duty on the battlefield of Kurukshetra.
