Accept the mysteries of the universe from "summary" of Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám by Omar Khayyam,Edward FitzGerald
In the grand scheme of life, we are but mere travelers in the vast expanse of the universe, wandering through the mysteries that surround us. It is futile to try and unravel every enigma that comes our way, for some things are meant to remain shrouded in secrecy, hidden from our understanding. Instead of lamenting our lack of knowledge, we must learn to embrace the unknown, to accept the mysteries that the universe presents to us. Just as a wise person does not question the changing seasons, but rather adapts to them with grace and humility, so too must we approach the uncertainties of life with an open mind and a willing heart.
By acknowledging our limitations and recognizing that there are forces at play beyond our comprehension, we free ourselves from the burden of trying to control everything around us. We become like a leaf floating on the surface of a river, carried along by the currents of fate without resistance or fear.
In this state of acceptance, we find peace and tranquility, knowing that we are but a small part of a much larger tapestry woven by the hands of destiny. We let go of our need for certainty and embrace the beauty of uncertainty, finding joy in the unfolding of each new mystery that comes our way.
So let us raise our glasses to the unknown, to the enigmas that perplex us and the riddles that confound us. For in accepting the mysteries of the universe, we open ourselves up to a world of endless wonder and possibility, where the answers may be elusive but the journey is always worth taking.
