Legal battles and Supreme Court ruling from "summary" of Rosa Parks My Story by Rosa Parks,Haskins Parks

Legal battles were a constant presence in my life, ever since that day on the bus. I was arrested for refusing to give up my seat to a white passenger, and that was just the beginning. The legal battle that followed was long and difficult, but I was determined to fight for what was right. I was eventually convicted of violating the segregation laws of Montgomery, but I appealed my case all the way to the Supreme Court. It was a long and arduous process, but I never wavered in my belief that segregation was wrong and unjust. The Supreme Court ruling in my case was a major victory, as it declared segregation on public buses unconstitutional. The legal battles did not end there, however. Even after the Supreme Court ruling, there were still many challenges to overcome. Segregationists continued to resist the desegregation of buses, and there were many more legal battles to be fought in the years that followed. Despite the challenges and the setbacks, I never lost faith in the power of the law to bring about change. The legal battles were just one part of the larger struggle for civil rights, but they were an important part. The Supreme Court ruling in my case was a milestone in the fight against segregation, and it paved the way for many more victories in the years to come.
