Adapting to the challenges of microgravity from "summary" of Riding Rockets by Mike Mullane

Microgravity was a whole new world for us astronauts. Floating in a weightless environment brought challenges that were impossible to fully prepare for on Earth. Simple tasks like eating, sleeping, and even going to the bathroom required a whole new approach in microgravity. It took time and effort to adapt to this unique environment, where everything behaved differently than what we were used to. One of the biggest challenges in microgravity was learning how to move around without the help of gravity. We had to master the art of pushing off walls, using handrails, and even pulling ourselves with our arms to navigate through the spacecraft.
