When you make a plan, you're making a guess about the future. No one has a crystal ball. No one knows if things will work out the way they hope, and yet planning is treated like some sort of magical formula that will guarantee success. But in reality, it's all just guesswork. You can't know what will happen tomorrow, let alone next month or next year. The problem with planning is that it often leads to paralysis. People get so caught up in trying to predict every little detail that they never actually take action. They're so afraid of making a wrong move that they end up making no move at all.
