In order to truly accept what is, we must first cultivate the practice of mindfulness. Mindfulness is the art of paying attention to the present moment with curiosity and kindness. It is about being fully present with whatever is arising in our inner and outer experience. When we practice mindfulness, we develop the capacity to observe our thoughts, emotions, and sensations without getting caught up in them.
