Trust is fragile and easily broken from "summary" of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Trust, that delicate thread that weaves connections between hearts, is a fragile thing. It can take years to build, yet only a moment to shatter. In the lives of the characters in this story, we witness how easily trust can be broken, leaving behind a trail of heartache and misunderstanding. Take, for example, the relationship between Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy. When Darcy proposes to Elizabeth, he does so with an air of superiority that wounds her pride.
