Power transcends limitations of the ego from "summary" of Power vs. Force by David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D.

The nature of power is such that it operates beyond the confines of the personal ego. When we are identified solely with the ego, we are limited by its narrow perspective and self-serving agendas. The ego is concerned with individual survival, control, and the fulfillment of its desires. It sees the world through the lens of separation and duality, constantly seeking to assert its dominance over others in order to feel secure and validated. Power, on the other hand, emanates from a deeper source within us. It is the force that sustains all of creation, transcending the boundaries of the individual self. Power is rooted in interconnectedness and unity, recognizing that we are all part of a greater whole. When we tap into this universal power, we are able to rise above the limitations of the ego and act from a place of compassion, wisdom, and love. The ego seeks to enhance its sense of self through external validation, status, and material possessions. It is driven by fear and insecurity, constantly comparing itself to others and seeking to outshine them in order to feel superior.
