On the other hand, ruling with fear can be an effective way to maintain control and discipline. When people are afraid of the consequences of their actions, they are more likely to follow orders and adhere to rules. Fear can establish boundaries and deter disobedience. However, a leader who relies solely on fear risks alienating their followers and creating a hostile environment. People may comply out of fear, but they will not truly respect or support their leader.- A successful leader must strike a balance between love and fear. By combining these two qualities, a leader can create a sense of loyalty and respect while also maintaining authority and control. People should feel a sense of admiration and appreciation for their leader, while also understanding the consequences of defying them. This balance allows a leader to inspire devotion while also commanding obedience. Ultimately, a leader who can effectively balance being loved and feared will be able to maintain power and influence over their followers.
