Success, it seems, is not something that can be achieved without making sacrifices. This was a lesson I learned early on in my tennis career, a lesson that would stay with me for the rest of my life. As I climbed the ranks and reached the pinnacle of my sport, I had to make some tough decisions along the way. Sacrifices had to be made in order to reach my goals, sacrifices that would ultimately shape the course of my career. One of the biggest sacrifices I had to make was giving up my childhood in pursuit of greatness. From a young age, I was thrust into the world of competitive tennis, spending hours upon hours on the court perfecting my game. While other kids were out playing with friends and enjoying their youth, I was honing my skills and preparing for the battles that lay ahead.
