Emergency Provisions in the Constitution of India are an integral part of the constitutional framework that allows for the declaration of emergency in times of grave national crisis. These provisions are outlined in Part XVIII of the Constitution, specifically Articles 352, 356, and 360. Article 352 deals with the proclamation of a state of emergency in the event of war, external aggression, or armed rebellion. It grants the President the power to declare a state of emergency if the security of India or any part thereof is threatened by war or external aggression or armed rebellion.
