It perpetuates stereotypes, reinforces power dynamics, and maintains the status quo. It hinders progress and perpetuates injustice. To challenge this, we must actively seek out and amplify the voices that are excluded from society's mirrors. We must listen to those whose stories have been silenced and work towards a more inclusive and equitable world. Only by acknowledging and addressing this exclusion can we begin to dismantle the systems of power and privilege that perpetuate inequality. It is only by amplifying all voices, especially those that have been marginalized, that we can create a more just and equitable society.
