When we make self-care a priority in our lives, we are able to show up fully in our relationships with others. By taking care of our own needs first, we are better equipped to be present and loving towards those around us. This may seem counterintuitive to some, as we are often taught to put the needs of others before our own. However, by neglecting our own well-being, we are actually doing a disservice to ourselves and to those we care about.
When we prioritize self-care, we are able to approach our relationships from a place of abundance rather than lack. We are able to give more freely and generously, without feeling depleted or resentful. By taking the time to nurture ourselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually, we are better able to connect with others in a meaningful way. This allows for deeper intimacy and understanding in our relationships.
