The first Jalsa Salana was a momentous occasion for the Ahmadiyya community, as it marked the first time the community had gathered in one place to celebrate their faith. This historic event was a pivotal moment for the community that brought them together and allowed them to share their love for one another and their belief in the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Promised Messiah.- The first Jalsa Salana was a landmark event in the history of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. Held in Qadian, Punjab, this event marked the start of the annual conventions which bring together the members from every corner of the world. Still today, more than 200 countries come together to honor the legacy of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, who established Ahmadiyya Muslim Community as a revivalist movement emanating from Islam.
- During the course of the first Jalsa Salana, the participants also deliberated upon key religious topics such as Prophethood and Jihad. Having been born in an era rife with technological and social transformation, many young people discussed the changing face of communities and religion.
