Human evolution is an ongoing process from "summary" of Man, the Unknown by Alexis Carrel
In the course of thousands of years, the human species has undergone many changes. These changes are not simply a thing of the past, but an ongoing process that continues to this day. We are not the same as our ancestors who lived thousands of years ago. We have evolved physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our bodies have adapted to our environment, our minds have developed new capacities, and our emotions have become more complex. Physically, human beings have undergone significant changes over time. Our ancestors were much smaller and less robust than we are today. They had to adapt to harsh environments and constant threats to survival. As a result, their bodies developed certain characteristics that helped them survive. Over time, these characteristics have evolved into the bodies we have today, with their own unique set of strengths and weaknesses. Mentally, humans have also evolved. Our brains have grown larger and more complex, allowing us to develop language, art, science, and technology. We have the ability to think abstractly, to plan for the future, and to imagine things that do not yet exist. Our mental capacities have allowed us to create civilizations, explore the world, and understand the universe in ways that would have been unimaginable to our ancestors. Emotionally, humans have become more complex. Our ancestors may have experienced basic emotions like fear, anger, and joy, but we have developed a much wider range of emotions. We can feel love, compassion, empathy, and a sense of moral responsibility. Our emotional capacities have allowed us to form complex social bonds, create societies, and build cultures that are unique to our species.- Human evolution is not a thing of the past, but an ongoing process that continues to shape who we are today. Physically, mentally, and emotionally, we have evolved in ways that have allowed us to survive and thrive in a changing world. Our bodies, minds, and emotions are constantly adapting to new challenges and opportunities, ensuring that we will continue to evolve into the future.
