As the son of Dronacharya, the royal guru of the Kauravas and Pandavas, Ashwathama was a skilled warrior and a devoted disciple. However, his actions during the war and the events that followed would lead to the infamous curse that bears his name. During the final days of the war, Ashwathama, enraged by the death of his father at the hands of the Pandavas, committed a heinous act that would forever change his fate.
