The power of storytelling

The power of storytelling: Lihaaf tells the story of a young girl, Rabbo, who is sheltered from the oppressive patriarchal society of her home in pre-Partition India. Through this story, we get a glimpse of the life of the women of that era and the extreme conditions they faced. The story also sheds light on the complexity of relationships, particularly between women, and the taboo subjects that were kept hidden.
