Revelation is the central concept of Islam, through which Allah communicates His guidance to humanity. In the life of Hazrat Muhammad (SM), revelation played a crucial role in shaping his mission and teachings. The process of revelation began when Prophet Muhammad (SM) was in his 40s, while he was meditating in the Cave of Hira near Mecca. It was during one of these meditations that the angel Jibril (Gabriel) appeared to him and commanded him to read. This encounter marked the beginning of a series of revelations that continued throughout the Prophet's life. The revelations received by Prophet Muhammad (SM) were in the form of verses, which were eventually compiled into the Quran. These verses covered a wide range of topics, including theology, morality, law, and guidance for personal conduct. The Quran is considered by Muslims to be the literal word of God, revealed to Prophet Muhammad (SM) through the angel Jibril. The Prophet would then recite these verses to his companions, who would memorize them and write them down. The process of revelation was intense and transformative for Prophet Muhammad (SM). He would often receive revelations in moments of solitude and reflection, and the experience would leave him physically drained. Despite the challenges he faced, the Prophet remained steadfast in his mission to convey Allah's message to humanity. The revelations he received guided him in his interactions with his companions, his enemies, and even in his personal life.- As the final revelation to mankind, serves as a guide for Muslims in all aspects of life. The Prophet's role as a recipient of divine revelation highlights his special status and the importance of following his teachings. Ultimately, the concept of revelation is central to understanding the mission and legacy of Hazrat Muhammad (SM) as the final messenger of Allah.
