Perseverance and resilience from "summary" of Just Kids by Patti Smith
It was not an easy journey, but we pressed on, fueled by our dreams and fueled by the belief that we had something important to say. There were times when it seemed like the whole world was against us, when doors were constantly being slammed in our faces, and when we were left with nothing but our determination to see us through. But we never gave up. We never lost sight of our goals, even when the path ahead seemed bleak and uncertain. And in the end, we found that our perseverance had paid off, that our hard work and dedication had led us to a place of fulfillment and success that we had once only dreamed of. Our journey was not an easy one, but it was a journey worth taking. We learned valuable lessons along the way, lessons that shaped us into the artists and the individuals that we are today. And though the road ahead may still be long and uncertain, we know that we have what it takes to face whatever challenges may come our way. And we will continue to press on, fueled by our dreams and fueled by the belief that anything is possible if we only have the courage to pursue it.
