Belly had always been drawn to Conrad. She couldn't help it. It was like he had this gravitational pull on her. But it seemed like Conrad was determined to keep her at a distance, to push her away no matter what. Despite everything, Belly couldn't help but hold out hope that one day, Conrad would come to his senses. That he would realize that they were meant to be together, that their unresolved feelings could finally be put to rest. But until then, she was stuck in this limbo, caught between what she wanted and what she knew was probably never going to happen.
