One of the key reasons women’s lives are devalued is due to gender data gaps. These data gaps exist because much of the data we have historically collected has been based on men, leading to a lack of information about women. This lack of data on women has serious consequences, as it means that policy makers and businesses are making decisions based on incomplete information.
